Well brenda bit of a long story. It was out in the wilds on a safari trip I spotted him. So we went on a bit further and I jumped out ( Against all advice) and went on my belly down wind of him and crept very very slowly and quietly until I reached this position to get the photo.

West Midlands Safari Park is a great place to get photos as long as you stay in the car (drive through area)

Difference with help of editing. Yes I missed getting the paws in shot

After

Same photo but wire fence removed. Just goes to show how a photo can be made into something worth looking at, and one the is distracting .

Little tip

If a photo looks terrible in colour change it to black and white, can make all the difference

Lovely pics but I thought maybe you had been to Africa in the past. I will ask Sara if she has any from when she went a couple of years ago.

No way have I been to Africa , too afraid of the Watuse Tribe who live in the long grass.

Why called the Watuse tribe? well as the live among long grass the have to keep jumping up and down shouting "What do you see!"
