hello! I am winnie :-)

Hello there! I am winnie_the-newt, and seem to be an exile from the BBC nature forums! And just as I had reached my 101st posting
Anyway, I live just north of the Border, ten minutes from Gretna, and work in a West Cumbrian secondary school, though I am off sick just now
I live with my partner; my elderly Border Collie dog called Rob, and 2 new kittens.
Angus is the older of the 2, at almost 5 months old now (we think). He is totally deaf, and was found as a stray at 11 weeks old with a serious eye infection that left one eye blind. He is all-white.
Mischa is slightly younger, at around 4 months old, and was with the CPL from 4 weeks of age, 7 weeks before I brought her home. She is pretty healthy, is mainly black, white paws and socks, plus an unusual, but pretty stripe down her nose! She is the "wild one" of the 2. No doubt you will get to know them (and me) through later postings.
I also submit a daily blog to my local evening paper's website, in which the 3 pets feature heavily. If you wish to take a quick look, the address is in my profile and look for a blue box on the right headed BLOGS; mine is Angela
