I hope I am not doubling up with anyone.

Good Morning All,

Sounds like you had a good night on D.A.D last night.
Nippy Jen you can spread yourself around and earn some money in this decorating lark.

TW I hope you have better news on your car today.

Mandy never got to say happy anniversary yesterday, enjoy your weekend away.

Now my brain cell has gone back to sleep so I'll just say have a good day today everyone, God bless.

Morning Moyra and everyone

Had a godawful day yesterday, stuck down the town with yet another flippin flat tyre, when I was supposed to be at the chiropodist, so instead of that, I managed to limp into Morrison's car park and sit there and wait for over 2 hours for the AA! Thankfully, after an hour, a nice young Irishman came to my rescue when he saw my flat back tyre and offered to change it for me, so he put my spare on, I gave him £20 and I was on my way. The bad news is, I ruined the tyre by driving on it so it's another £150 for a new one. Dave's going to get me some new (2nd hand) wheels cos I'm so fed up with these corroded alloys that keep leaking on me, rendering me helpless and stranded each time. Thank God I walked in the woods yesterday and didn't take Zena in the car up on the top cos I would have been stranded on a narrow lane getting up there.

The day before yesterday, I spent the entire day tidying up the front garden and that stupid bit of ground we own on the other side of our little sliproad, it was soooo hot, I nearly keeled over in the heat, so carried on doing it in the evening, then I was too cream crackered to get on here.

Hope you're all well along with the doglets and hopefully I can get back on track with important stuff like Dogsey now

Enjoy the day everyone

Oh Helena, what a time you had. So glad there are still some kind people about. I assume you notified the AA that somebody else had helped you out. Should get your £20 back from them really. I hope you have a better day today.

Morning Moyra.
Morning Helena what an awful day you had yesterday. The man who came to your rescue wasn't Eileen's OH was it ?
Lots of rest and nanny naps today I think after the last two days. I did wonder where you were but knew you had some things to do so thought you were busy not having the day from hell.

Bit of a disturbed night but not with the cat with Dillon he came upstairs to sleep but after an hour wanted to come back down it was quite warm upstairs last night. He won't come down on his own, big wuss.
He settled back down and we went back to sleep then about 5 I heard a noise thought he might of sneezed but was half asleep so wasn't sure came down he was sleeping where he always does and didn't even look up. I called him no response stroked him no response. I panicked and thought he had died in his sleep. My heart missed a beat. Put the light on he looked up at me all bleary eyed got up got on the sofa we stayed there for a while then I went back to bed till nearly 7.45.

Morning, well we are in the middle of a thunder storm here and the rain is so heavy on my porch roof I can't hear myself think
Morning Moyra think I will give the decorating a miss.
Helena what a day, hope today is better for you. As you say I should get those wheels changed ASAP!
Morning Mandy, sorry I missed your anniversary too, hope you had a good day.
Morning Lynn, what a shock with Dillon. That would have given me a jolt too I wonder where the cat spent the night
Shopping today and B&Q to see if they will take back an unopened tin of paint. Then I think we will try and find a car park somewhere!
Hope you all have a good day.

Helena, if you go to a tyre place they'll sort the rims for you, its a matter of getting the corroded bits off and then a decent seal, I've had this (obviously because I specialise in strange things carwise) and thats what they did, so I then said to them if one of my other tyres did it, could they take it in and sort the rest of the rims out and they said they could, but it never happened again to me, just a problem with a valve once, I think, but that could have been another car.
Strange the AA kept you waiting that long, if you're out and alone they have a policy of putting you top of the list
Got so much whizzing around in my head, everythings coming to a sort of crescendo at the same time, hoping I have a calm, quiet October with everything sorted and I can have downtime.
Lynn, stop scaring yourself silly, there's poor Dillon in a deep sleep and you probably scaring HIM silly
Maybe the cat has certain houses it bothers on certain nights, and last night was your night off!
Lovely day here again, Nippy, sorry to hear you've a thunderstorm, but someone has to have it, and so very glad that somehow we're getting decent weather up here!
Back later when I've achieved something, will be a LOT later then

Morning Moyra
Nippy, our b&q are pretty good at taking things back so hopefully you will be ok
Lynn, i bet you nearly had aheart attack when you couldn't wake dillon
Helena, wow, that was a wait for the AA, one thing i always insist my dad carries is one of those electronic compressors as even if you have to stop to fill the tyre a few times at least it should get you back home. As TW says sometimes when you get the tyres swapped they don't clean the crap off the rim so you won't get a good seal with the new tyre, we had that after spending £600 on tyres, my dad wanted to get them taken off and i just asked the lad to take them off, clean the rims with wire wool and reseal...job done, his Z4 has those flippin run flat things on, what a pain they are
Happy anniversary Mandy
Well i bit the bullet last night and ordered the kitchen floor, i hope it is alright now. My internet is still playing up so i got my dad to change the socket and wiring after me having a tantrum what time did he decide to start doing it??? 9.15pm in the dark!!!!
