Clean up following Kennel Cough

Hello

Not been on this site for a few years. Winston Pug was diagnosed with Kennel Cough on Saturday. I was wondering if there was anything special I had to do when cleaning his bedding?

Thank you!!!!

I'd just wash everything like normal using bleach if possible. Where did he get the KC from? Doesn't sound like you have any other dogs and it's mostly transmitted by other dogs. Do you visit dog parks or hang around other dogs a lot?

I'd be more concerned about preventing it in the future. It's not normally serious, but it can get serious, especially in breeds such as Pugs.

No idea! He has never set foot in a kennel. It started on Friday, I took him to the vet on Saturday after our trainer said there was a virus going round. Thankfully we caught it quickly and all he needed was a shot of steroids and Metacam for a week.
