Another seizure for Pereg -

She only went 17 days sz-free this time - SIGH. Just over an hour ago she asked to go out but just rushed out, turned, and rushed back in again, then started to go under the table but backed out and looked terrified and I thought she was going into a Psychomotor Seizure, so went into the kitchen to get the cheese out to give her some Valium but she was shivering and would not take it and then she just crashed down in a full blown Grand Mal.

When she came out of it - and it was a long one - she did not even try to get up for nearly 10 minutes and then kept falling over. Eventually got up and crashed about a until she could see, and is currently asking for Food, Food, and more Food which is typical for her when she is post-ictal.

Heaven only knows when, or even if, I will get to bed tonight.

Booger.

Oh No Malka, so sorry to hear this. Its just a waiting game for you now I know, are you able to give her valium to calm her down a little so she doesn't go again.

She has had 20mg Valium and half a drawer of frozen chicken backs and is looking like a balloon now. The only reason I am able to sit down for a minute is because she is eating yet again.

I have no choice. It is not giving in to her because she does not know what she is doing, it is just that her brain is telling her she is hungry and she goes frantic and I have to get her to calm down.

Well you can always put her food back a little when she is more herself, the main thing at the moment is to keep her calm, and if that involves eating then so be it.
Have you got any of those mahoosive bones that would take her weeks to get through

Not much left of the night as it has gone 2am and that bdooly alarm will go off at 7am for her next Pb. I have just convinced her to go out although I doubt she will pee as she flooded the kitchen during the seizure. I guess flooding the kitchen floor is better than soaking my bed though.

If she would only just stop the pacing and rest. She has had 30mg Valium by now which should have knocked her out ages ago.
