Help for arthritis

Meg , my border collie approx. 13 yrs old has arthritis in her hind legs. She came from rescue and has been prescribed loxicom via their vets for the last 3 yrs. Have also been giving her Youmove and Omega 3 in form of oily fish and salmon oil. In the last few weeks her condition has worsened and she seems uncomfortable. Has anyone found a remedy other than NSAIDS which seems to work?

Hi there. We give Max Mobile Bones from Pooch and Mutt. It is supplement to be given with his meals. He seems to do well with it. We tried Youmove but this had no effect on him at all. Pets at Home used to sell it but I think they must have stopped so we have been getting it direct from poochandmutt.com.

I have heard good reports about Jointease. You sprinkle it on their food and it works pretty quickly.

I use Cortaflex for my dogs and myself, my dogs improved and I got my life back. It is expensive to buy but depending on the size of your dog depends on how long it lasts. I used it on a medium sized dog and it lasted several months

Thanks I don't mind paying more for something if it works.
