I am evil!

Pereg is sitting in the middle of the room with tiny treats all round her, one on each paw, four in a row on her tail, and another four on her head and I have told her not to move!

I have my back to her but I can see her out of the corner of my eye and she is frozen like a statue!

[I think I had better let her have them now!]

Ooooh what a cruel mum ....... however, what a very clever girl you have

One of my dogs is brilliant at leave, the other is useless. If I did that to my dog that is really good at 'leave' the other one would hoover up the food

That makes twice I have been cruel to the poor wubble today - she sat in the kitchen and watched me bag up 10 kilos of chicken backs this morning, putting each one in a separate polybag, then following me while I took them to the big freezer [had to do it in four lots as they were too heavy to carry in one go] and laid them in rows to freeze them...

...and I did not even give her one.

Poor Pereg! Someone best go and rescue her. No innocent dog should have to suffer such cruelty

I remember Zane being fantastic at retrieve. That was, until it was suggested that I try it with a sausage. So of course the obvious happened/ I chucked the sausage whilst he sat at my side. I sent him away to retrieve the sausage, which he did so perfectly. Then he returned to me.

Of course by the time he had reached me and had "finished", the sausage had miraculously disappeared.! can't think where it went!!
