Fireworks

Bearing in mind fireworks are explosives I personally feel with the way they are abused by so many now that if people really want to see them then they should go to public displays.

Only organised public displays.

There are too many maladjusted people out there, just waiting to get their hands on legal freely available explosives.

Absolutely only organised public displays as far as I am concerned, and only at certain times of the year.

General Public for me.

It would be a shame to penalise the majority for the sake of the few.

Maybe there should be stricter rules on who can sell them and something done to stop the sale to minors

Option A for me too!!! I can't see any good reason or argument why they should be sold to the general public!

I've voted for public displays.

I have had three incidents while living here, a rocket tail in the kitchen window frame - approx 1 cm from the glass, a rocket hit the side door and a rocket hit the front of our house and landed on the top of my car causing a massive dent. This has not happened since the 'credit crunch'. To my mind, the reduced number of fireworks here over the last few years has been the only good thing to come out of the financial difficulties that a lot of people are having.
