Nice photo Malka - I remember the snow when I was a kid, always seemed like we got more then (although I wasn't around in 1948 )

So which one am I in that photo!

Actually that girl is one who's name I cannot remember although I remember most - surnames as well. I also remember the roads and houses where some of them lived!

The boy at the left on the back row turned up wearing a kilt, much to the surprise of everyone.

Back row from left - the little boy wearing the kilt - I think his name was Douglas but it was a very long time ago so am not sure; Eleanor S; Jill M [who lived next door]; forget her name but another from our class at school; Vivienne ?; forget the name of the next one but remember exactly where she lived; Gillian C.

Seated from left - forget the name but she was the cousin of the boy next to her; Roger W who lived across the road; my cousin Janis [who was killed along with her husband and two baby sons when her husband flew his private plane into a mountain in southern France]; my twin; me; and cousins Stuart and John [their father was my Uncle Ben].

I wonder what happened to our school friends from that party.

Such a very very long time ago now.
