Robbie - 8 month old male English Bull X Whippet?
Robbie, English Bull X Whippet?, DOB 01.12 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing requirements: Robbie needs a family who can set boundaries and provide him with a sure start and clarification on 'rules' being the puppy dog he is. Robbie really needs a secure garden to express his energy. A versatile and active family would suit him and ideally to live with at least one other dog. Not cat tested. Robbie will need sun block on hot days.
His Story: Found stray with a chip, the owner agreed to come and collect him, but the pound's charge was obviously a factor as they didn't turn up or answered the phone from then on. We were asked to take Robbie and he was fortunately offered a week's foster early on. Robbie is now in kennels in Godstone, Surrey. Neutered, vax'd and to be chipped.
Advert: Fosterer's assessment: “Fully house trained, incredibly dog friendly, sits brilliantly for a treat, gives both paws beautifully, sits and waits for his dinner until prompted, very responsive to verbal commands. He walks well on the lead, but recall needs attention. However, if you bend down and make enough fuss he bounds back with gusto. Robbie gives fabulous cuddles and is very chilled out for a puppy. You can take him anywhere (including the pub)”!
Robbie is an English Bull Terrier x puppy, who is still mouthing and in adolescence so learning to assert himself but responds to a firm NO and being outwitted. Robbie also needs to settle in his own company and to get over his passion for human food too. He's easily trainable and will be pretty close to perfect with little effort from his forever owners. Simples!
"Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".
