What supplements?

What supplements do you use? and what are they for??

There are dorwest herbs on sale on petplanet, I already give keepers mix but is there anything else worth giving?

I have 3 dogs, 2 young BCs who seem super healthy and no problems. and 1 BC X GSD who had funny hips sometimes.

I give Jess:
High Strength Glucosamin, Chondroitin and MSM combined pill
Green Lipped Mussel and
Devils Claw
All for her dodgy hips

I give Harls a low dose of Gluc, Chondroitin & MSM combi pill as a preventative.

No matter what food you are feeding, the cooking process disctates that you supplement. I give fish oil, fresh cow trachea (for the chondroiton), and palm oil (vitamin E). You can find more details on dog supplements at [link removed]

Omega 3 Molecularly distilled for heart, skin etc. and a combination of glucosamine HCL, chondroitin and msm, for their bones. Don't really need to give them any as their ( expensive ) food contains all of it but they were recommended by my vet too..

Just adding dollops of goat's yogurt every couple of days at the moment.

I can remember years ago I used to give some kind of seaweed powder, and the dogs I had then did have very good coats. Anyone else used it?
