Ice - 18 month old male Staffie
Ice, Staffie, DOB 09.10 – Gatwick
Homing Requirements: Ice is a little nervous so needs a tender family who can ensure he only ever has friendliness offered. He can wee a little like a puppy if trying to overcome nerves and currently relates to lead offered to him. Ice could be an only dog but could possibly live with another. Unassessed reference cats or small furries. Dog savvy children over 6 year of age should be fine (for his own protection).
His Story: Ice was found stray and the dog warden couldn't understand why no-one had reclaimed him. He apparently has to put a lot of Staffies to sleep as there just aren’t any takers with rescues but he spent an afternoon devoted to Ice to try and find a rescue to take him as he was booked in to be put to sleep the next day. We agreed … what a hero the dog warden was and what a gem Ice is. Now neutered, chipped and just finishing vax. In emergency kennelling in the Gatwick area.

Advert: The name Ice doesn't suit this boy unless you add his full title Ice-Cream! Yes he is yummy, enjoyable on any occasion and he is a smoothie. Ice is a little reserved in kennels but building confidence all the time. He now has many friends and welcomes anyone with a lead, treat or just for cuddles. Ice is meeting dogs well too and assessed to be receptive as much as we can judge within our circumstance.
Ice is white with brindle patches, one over his left eye. He is around 18 months old and a pedigree Staffie and has a sweet gentle face, soft coat and a very friendly nature. He wants to befriend and would so benefit being able to relax in a home. Could suit a first time Staffie owner providing they are offering him stability and confidence through their dog skills in life and an inclusive home to share his loving heart.
Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found
