Lady Tara

"Lady "Tara!
This lovely older lady is called Tara. Her owner died two days ago and poor Tara has nowhere to go. She is currently in emergency foster with a male dog and is getting on well with him.

She is very food motivated and has excellent recall. Tara has lived with a cat and has a lovely temperament. Have you got room for this loving older lady? She has a bit of stiffness in her front legs but was happy to go and play with other dogs.

What age is Tara (roughly)? Where is she being fostered?

Hello, roughly we think about 8-10, really not sure tbh, she wasn't in the best condition, she has had to go in for a wee op to have some cysts removed and we are waiting on biopsy results, she is in foster currently and we are awaiting the results before decisions on what to do.

I believe she is being fostered Perthshire, I don't have an exact area currently.

I do hope this older dog finds a home but she has at least had a life to what is probably almost her allotted life span and she does have some health issues now. Fingers crossed that her results will be clear, but she will need an owner who is prepared to and in a financial position to foot some vet bills ongoing by the sound of it. And one who is strong enough to face the fact that they might not have her for very long before she dies.

Delighted to sy Lady Tara is in her forever home where she now visits Old people in a care home on a daily basis.
