Fantastic, I love the grooming competitions, this pales into insignificance against some of the creations I have seen, the groomers are very very talented.

That is a Barbie pooch if ever there was one.

It wasn't for a competition. The lady who owns her has 5 colours in her hair and decided it was time to liven the pooch up to. For no reason, other than ...... because.

I don't see an issue as long as it is skin appropriate and the dog doesn't have an issue about it..

I wouldn't do it myself but each to their own..

And why not, it is just a bit of fun, it is not harmful to the dog, I like a bit of self expression.

That is one high maintenance dog

I really like Poodles but not with that sort of trim and definitely not with that colouring! Each to their own though.

People were not created with pink hair either

Dogs were not created with clipped out portions of their coats either.

So what?

I cannot see any reason to be "horrified" it is not harmful or cruel. I am far MORE horrified at those dogs whose coats are matted and unkempt.

It is not MY cup of tea (because I am too lazy) but I think it is a bit of harmless fun.
