Trod on a thorn yesterday

it went straight through my NEW trainers, and into the soft part of my arch on my left foot. jeeze it hurt. hobbled home.bathed it, put some antiseptic and covered it with a plaster. today its swollen. red.and damm well painful . did it where the council where cutting down the thorny bushes.hubby saw the men cutting it back, but the 1 who should of been cleaning it up was on his mobile!!! so yes im going to complain to the council. think ill even put in for some compensation. ruined trainers painful to walk.
why they dont do their jobs properly i dont know. u should see the size of the thorn about an inch long!!! ok my rant here is done

Are you up-to-date with your tetanus. May be worth your while getting it done at your docs, if not. Safe guard yourself and more ammo towards the council?

BM, I think you'll probably need AB's for that.

My daughter did the same, and was in a difficult situation walking (and playing football) for a little while.

Definietly enquire about a tetanus. You may not need one but just in case. Sounds like you may need antibiotics too. Hope it feels better soon xxxxx
