Morning all,

Halfway through the week already........ time and tide wait for no man!

Went back to see the specialist for a second post-op check on my hand. It’s healing nicely, just needs a bit of physio, which I can do myself if only I could remember. Trouble is, it means 15 minutes of doing nothing else which is a real struggle for me. However, I must try.

The specialist is still going to get his physio lady to call me...... but I shall tell her I don’t need any assistance at the moment

Nice to hear the hand is doing well Vicki. Hope the back is better too.

Frosty here but dry thank goodness. Gorden is off to Winchester to meet about this part time Associate Tutoring for them in fact it is almost the same as the full time job he applied for and wasn't successful.

I am hopping along too he is going for his meeting I am walking into the city centre and looking at the shops and when he catches up we may do some Christmas shopping.

I'm meeting up with Claire, Lily and Alphie this morning down at the beach Cafe for a nice, long walk, really looking forward to that, coz it won't be foggy down there like it is here although it shouldn't last long, they've promised a glorious sunny day.

I've taken the house off the market now, because I was livid yesterday, when the people having their 2nd viewing cancelled at the last minute, due to their own house sale falling through I'd spent hours getting the place like a showhouse as I have been doing for the past six months, which isn't easy with two big, hairy monsters, and I want my life back now. It got me so wound up, I was getting paranoid about the phone ringing coz I'd think it was the agents and I'd have to start all that cleaning again! This was going on at least once a week, nightmare! All over now, we'll wait until the Spring and start again! Our problem has been all the downsizers they've been sending us who currently live in £700K houses, but then they haven't sold theirs We kinda like it here anyway, so maybe it's fate

Better go outside now and check up on the poo situation this morning, it's always the highlight of my day lol!

Sorry Helena it didn't work out. So frustrating have a rest from it now for a while.

Gorden has the Associate Tutoring it is just going up there to sort things out and get dates. The training hubs are already in place.

Morning all

This is the 8th day of feeling absolutley pants, think its a virus but I cant get over it. Its making me all wobbly and Im sleeping for england. Im sure if I had a couple of days in bed I would be fine but there are doggies to walk and Im not one to let people down! (thought this is the only time i wish I had a back up!)

Hopefully I shouldnt be finished too late tonight so can get into bed early.... again

Glad to read the hand is getting better Vicki and I really loved that gem this morning, in fact why isn't the whole world happy (apart from you lot of course) now there's a puzzle for you (just go back to the quote to work it out )

You're doing the right thing Helena, £700K houses are not going to sell quickly so 'downsizers' are not you're best prospect and a report today says house prices will not move much for at least a decade. In the spring there will be more 'upsizers' looking, that's who you really want.

Enjoy your day in Winchester Lynn, from memory it's a nice place to shop, but of course that is what I recall from long ago, today it's likely full of chavs drinking lager and behaving like cretins, well that's the impresson I get of most town centres these days
