Clipper are very personal and you will get as manrecommendations as there are clippers.

I use and prefer Laube Micro. because they are light have variable speed and they have done a grand job for me tthe last 6 years I have owned my pair. They have been used on poodles from Mini to Standard in a salon environment.

I have used both others but find them heavy especially if being used a lot but might not be a problem if just for personal use.

Hi Chris, thanks for your reply-I will look into laube micro.I agree a lot of the clippers are very heavy, noisy & vibrate a lot which makes my hands ache when clipping pebbles.the wahl were ok for my last dog,a mini wire haired daxy, but poodles have a heck of a lot more coat to clip! thanks again, luv Tina
