Oldie needs a bed ..

I am always putting puppies up but this oap got to me .
Tessa is a 15 year old Collie and until last weekend had lived her whole life with one lady. Unfortunately due to a very sad situation Tessa could no longer stay with her owner so was handed over to Many Tears to find a retirement home. Tessa has lived and slept with cats all her life and is very used to visiting grandchildren of all ages. She has lived as an only dog but has settled in here with 9 other dogs with no problems at all so she could go alone or with other dogs. She is housetrained, walks nicely on a lead, sleeps quietly in the kitchen all night with some of my dogs and is the perfect houseguest. She is still as bright as a button mentally, physically she is a bit wobbly on her legs but that doesn't stop her enjoying 45 minute walks. She isn't spayed & at her age we wouldn't put her through that operation. She has a few lumps & bumps but again we feel that at her age we should let her be. She will be microchipped and have at least her first vaccination. We're really hoping that someone will offer Tessa a place by their fireside to enjoy her twilight years.

Did she get a home murf? I'm just trawling old threads, and I remember at the time you posted thinking if only Louie wasn't so bouncy.

Glad to hear it - surely they would've posted rehomed/fostered though? Unless, sadly that wasn't the case - but that doesn't bare thinking about..
