I can see why so many of them end up in rescue... Kismet has had me on my toes and has taught me all kinds of new words for patience. She's enough to make anyone start believing in dominance theory! It would be lovely to think you could own something so wild beautiful and primal looking, but for it to be an 'ordinary' dog... Then the reality hits...

Poor Huskies... Victims of their looks belying their natures...

I met this gorgeous lad today - we live near Battersea Old Windsor so popped along for a wander around and this guy definately caught my eye. Demetri is absolutely stunning! Even moreso than his photo. His blue eye is actually a combine of blue and brown blending into each other, very unique. A lot smaller than I was expecting but a lot of love in a little package Absolutely adored a rub behind his ears and did the whole melting-into-your-hand thing. Going to make a lovely loyal companion for someone - sadly not us, OH dragged me away after the 4th visit and put his sensible head on!

awww sounds gorgeous!!

most people seem to think sibes should be bigger than they are....and the eye thing is quite common too (funny tho,its my collie that has a split eye lol)
