Oh my goodness.

Gorden and I went to the local filling station this afternoon to fill the Purple Chrysler Voyager with petrol ready for our short camping trip over the weekend.

There is a reason why I am keeping on about the Purple Chrysler Voyager and here is why.

There is an entrance and exit one way system to this filling station and we saw this little yellow car being driven by an elderly lady and another elderly lady as a passenger and we thought she had come in the no entry side as she was heading in the wrong direction. Gorden pulls onto the forecourt and leaves her some room but she is trying to maneuver to a petrol pump but took a too wide turn so she decides to reverse.

We are sitting there waiting and she keeps reversing and reversing and reversing and all of a sudden Gorden realises she is going to reverse straight into the front of us so he hits the horn and there must of been a whisker between us.

Now why could she not see a big purple Chrysler Voyager behind her ? The guy at the till said it had been a spectacle for a while there. She had gone in the right way ended up going round and reversing all over the place and at one point he thought she was going to drive into one of the pumps.

I drive a bright yellow car and people also seem to fail to see me comming, both pedestrians and other road users?!?!

However, wasn't me at the petrol pump (even though ironically I went to fill up today!).

Yes hopefully Harvey.

Do you know I swear people play chicken with me when I drive the voyager. Thing is I see it as a bit of a challenge and like to play them back at their own game sometimes they end up getting a bit worried.
