Does your dog watch television?

According to this

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...uare-eyes.html

dogs are becoming addicted.

I do not think Pereg will though as I rarely put the television on!

Bo will sit and watch anything with dogs or animals in it. She'll also try and bite the TV if there is something running on the program!

According to Horowitz (Inside of a dog), dogs don't like to watch TV due to the "flicker rate". I'm not sure what I think about it though (would like to read the research papers on it to form an intelligent view).

Mostly mine ignore it but one I had loved to watch "the littlest Hobo".

I used to put it on specially for him

Some Westies in particular seem to be inclined to attack tvs, especially when there are dogs or other animals on. Presumably that implies they are watching as I have known them do it even on mute.

Try telling mine that, everytime he hears the jingle (samsung tv's do a jingle when u turn them on and off) he comes running and sits in front of it!

No point putting any sport on as all you can see is a Border Collie head in the way with the ears up He will watch anything but especially golf. The last TV got a chip in the screen where his teeth clonked it when he saw a golfer drive the ball

Obviously I follow strict guidelines.

They only watch suitably screened programmes which are educational (eg David Attenborough)

They only watch when accompanied by me.

And post the watershed they are sent to their rooms..........

I didnt mean straight up on the top of his head, they normally lie pretty flat at the side of his head but when something interests him they stick out to the side and go up a bit. Hard to describe
