My pup (now 1 yr), stopped wanting 3 meals at about 5 months. My breeder told me they will tell you when they don't want three anymore so looks like you are approaching that time How old is Millie now?

Agree with WhichPets. I always let the pup tell me when to stop the lunchtime feed.

I'd agree with the above...

Max stopped around 6/7 months or so

Murphy would still eat 3 meals a day if allowed; and brunch, snacks, and supper

LOL, mine would eat a meal on the hour every hour, so letting the puppy decide doesn't always work.

I think mine were about 8 months when I stopped giving them lunch -- I intended to drop the lunchtime meal at 6 months, but I felt a bit mean for stopping!

But 6 months or a bit before is fine if the dog is loosing interest.

We stopped Rolos third meal at about 6 months when he seemed to lose a little interest.

We are keeping to two meals a day forever having breakfast and evening meal with the daily ration split equally. Breakfast can be as late as about 11am is we have for whatever reason not fed them before the morning walk.

Dinner is usually around 5.30pm when we eat, but if we are eating later or walking earlier then it will be later.

We leave at least an hour before and after meals before walking.

We never dropped Toby from 3meals (he's 2yrs), it suited him and wasn't a problem to do so we just kept it that way. If your pup doesn't want lunch then try her without and see if she complains!

(Tobys actually getting 5meals a day at the moment but thats a different story!)
