Stella (ESS) Hip Dysplasia, One month on

Well a month has passed since having Stella on the lead with her hips. We went to see the specialist on Thursday and he was very impressed with her. Her hips are much more flexable. She is in a lot less pain and can walk for longer. Her next call is to be off lead for 3 times during the walk. 5min at a time 3 times during our walks. I dont think she is fully ready for that so im giving her a few min off at the beginning and the end of the walk and apart from a few times where she has gone crazy she is doing really well. We are much further ahead than i anticipated. She is a bit stiff sometimes but im sure i can find a happy medium with her and we can walk and have some running as well.

Im SOOOOO happy

Cheers guys, i really never thought we would be this far in a month. At the moment ive figured out that a few mins off the lead once a day is enough for her. Done that today and she is in no pain. Ill work up from that
