Vets x 2 this coming week!

Well, I need to take both Kingsley and Teagan to the vets this coming week!
Both for the same reason, but different causes!

They are both weeing themselves, but don't know it's happening.
Kingsleys, I suspect is due to old age.
Teagans, I suspect is due to the tumours in her groin/belly area
Just found another wee upstairs on the landing, so that makes 3 times for Teagan when she's sitting/laying down.

Oh no-poor old you!

I'd rather clear up after a Yorkie than a Bullmastiff I must say! I hope they get on ok and the vets can help with this problem.

I hope that the vet can sort them both out for you - it's not just that it's a pain having to keep cleaning up after them is it; it's the indignity for the poor doggies.

Good luck.

It was Teagans turn today....
The vets says I am right, and the tumours are now spreading into her organs, and when she sits a certain way, there are some pressing on her bladder.
You can feel them under her belly (between her legs), vet says they are massive
Luckily she is not in any pain, so we are trying a big dose of steroids for a week to see if it helps at all. So back to see the same vet next Tuesday morning.
Been told the steroids will make her wee even more, and if I can't cope, I can lower the dose (been told what to take it down to). She had another accident today upstairs, bless her

Kingsleys turn tomorrow to see the vet I saw today......she says weeing like he is in boys isn't generally treatable...could be his bladder or his kidneys. Will have to wait and see

How are steroids going to help this situation ? I would think they would double if not treble your weeing problem. Dogs drink more...a lot more when on steroids in my experience, and hence pee considerably more. If it is a tumour pressing on the bladder, where is the logic ?

Hope you aren't paying much for your steroids, they're cheap, cheap...and nasty !
