Update on the greyhound situation

Went to meet the older girl at her trainers yesterday (she was speyed last week).

Apart from her coat being in really cruddy condition and her bare bottom (all of which we expected) she was an utter utter sweetie. Apparently when it came to cat-testing her response to the cat was to lick it - she licks everything and gave hubby more than one huge slurpy lick to say hello.

Walked her with Layton - the pair of them sniffed a couple of times then mooched along quite happily, tails wagging in unison, totally laid back about it all.

She is utterly tiny for a hound though - she's only a smidge taller than Layton who is collie sized!

So now we wait for them to get her transported to the actual branch kennels to put through the homing - hopefully we won't have to keep chasing that up like we've had to all the way through this.
