Hobos `Rescue` closed down.

For Essex peeps:
Remember Novem that was closed down finally after an Echo campaign? Well a woman took it over and set up a `rescue` / dealership.
There`s an article in yesterday`s paper about it. She has closed it now and the dogs have been got out, thanks to the wonderful work of (among others ) Fluffybland from Dogsey - so well done Kathy and friends!
There`s no link to the article yet.
Dogs were severely underweight, kept in bare cages with no heating or bedding (in this last winter); they were stinking, covered in their own waste.
Sick Puppies were being sold unvaccinated even though the place wasn`t licenced (due to her saying it was a Rescue) . Prices charged were up to £600.
A vet nurse stated: The outside kennel absolutely stunk. The water bowls were covered in algae. and there were faeces everywhere. The rottweiler we went to see was a bag of bones. `
The dogs have been got out and the woman is being investigated. If you would like to help these dogs please go to

I remember Novem and many others when I lived that way. Pleased that the dogs have now been rescued.

So so sad. Poor dogs. Another case of animal hoarding

She was using the `Rescue` pretence to sell on puppies from Welsh puppy farms. It was a business and the Rescue side was front by the sound of it (Rescues aren`t licenced as pet shops have to be).
