There are 4 and a catch up episode. Two episodes were aired last year by the BBC but court cases put a stop to the series then. This time we get the whole series.

It makes very sad tv

The area it was filmed in is about eight miles away from me. I found it sad and shocking.

There are lovely houses and people in the neighbourhood too. These residents were horrified at the way their area was represented.

Sadly there are folks that live as seen everywhere.

We did get one surprise. Bullet the SBT needs emergency treatment in one episode. I sat thinking, I recognise that guy, then realised it was our vet. And I did say 'look Isaac, Uncle Jim's on tv'

Take care.

Seoniad.

As I live in Scotland, I've already seen all 6 episodes of this programme. It is not pleasant. But I, and everyone else I would imagine, know it goes on. We don't need a series of programmes on it. I'm not shocked in the slightest.

Why they wasted money in filming this and glorifying these people is beyond me. The money could've been better spent. I also have no idea why they are showing it nation-wide either! What's the point?!

Most of them have no intention of getting help. Indeed, they have to WANT to change themselves in order to change. Most of them don't care. They are the dregs of society, IMO.

Please, don't take this programme as a true reflection of Scotland as a whole, it is NOT the case. (I know those of you with sense won't though anyway!).

All of the UK have these pockets in society, just in a different dialect, that's all.

ETA: There are many decent people in mixed council and bought housing estates, not just the people on The Scheme! I would imagine they don't want to be involved, maybe! The only decent one they filmed was the wee gardener and his wife. The rest of them need to buck up their ideas and sort themselves out.
