It's a bit like the designer dog thing - champagne sounds better than cream.. Chocolate sounds better than brown..etc

Talking of random things overheard in the park... a woman in utter shock because she didn't realize dalmations didn't stay puppy sized like on the film!

My brown and grey dog is a German wirehaired pointer and when we go to the lurcher racing people always ask about the brown and grey dog running and what and unusual lurcher she is.
