An unexpected walk!!

Plagued with financial woes, I thought I would cheer myself up and take the boys for a picnic to the plateau, and read my book in the sun while they played etc....

Although it is at 6000ft, I was there last week in a T shirt, and I know the temperature has dropped this week but I wasn't quite expecting it to have dropped so much...

I think with the wind chill it must have been at least -10 so we had a very hasty picnic...

But the boys had a nice time and were so excited by the unexpected snow that they spent the whole time doing runnink and rarrrrrrring with each other.

Oh WOW, look at those boys play!!! Love it!! There's nothing quite like watching german shepherds at play is there, they do that loooooooong stride when chasing each other, and I have to say, I've only ever seen it when they're playing with another shepherd - have you noticed that??!! Lovely, lovely, gorgeous pics of your gorgeous dogs.

Hmph, makes my climb up Cissbury look a bit pathetic now doesn't it! If it was snowing like that, I would never have made it up there!!!!

Lucky you!!! Dogs cant run off leash in our mountains... they tend to bring back bears!

I'm not at 6000 ft, but we just got another couple of inches dumped on us, and another couple forcasted for today... The ground's still frozen, the grass is still brown, and the trees haven't even started budding yet!!! (usually by this time the trees have a hint of green)
