Dog walking buddies in Peterborough

I was wondering if there are any dogs out there willing to go for a walk with my 3 year old mixed breed.
We rescued him end of December and he has never been socialised before. We are trying to build up his confidence with other dogs. He is not aggressive - just barks at dogs if they dont leave him alone!
We feel (and have the agreement of our trainer) that he is ready for a walking partner to aid in his confidence.
Any potential walking buddy would need to be confident and calm if he starts to bark - but not over friendly when they first meet.
