RVC in Potter Bar Herts. We were quoted £117 consultation as emergeny.

Breakdown of bill in the end was zero for consultation which was good as he was seen at 1am on the Thursday then sent home after check up and injection then returned on Thursday at 10pm.

Hospitalisation with VAT £ 40-62. He needed sedating.

Tests and overnight stays and medication while hospitalised for 10 nights total £4,364.82 of which we had to pay £274.76 which included excess, admin fee for them making direct claim to Inusrance Company and the difference in the amount of insurance covered and the over run costs of hospitalisation etc.,

Cost of medication (Prednislione) received Monday including postage and administration fee with VAt was £72.98 out of our pockets now. For however long needed. This is at the high dose 50 mg daily if it is able to be lowered hopefully the price will be lowered too.
