Some of those good Dogsey vibes needed here please!(update @ post 16)

As I speak, Bandit is at the vets being x rayed with suspected Cardiomyopathy?

He has not been well for a good few days now, started coughing on Friday, firth thoughts KC, so as I akways have something in my medical box, I have been giving him Synulox,

The coughing has not got any better, infact it has got worse, he is having a really bad time with it,

So last evening took him to the vet, because I started to feel this is something more than just CK, plus with his age and knowing how they can go down hill so quickly, I thought it best to see my vet.

He has fluid on the lungs and his heart is muffled, plus my vet did not think the cough was typical CK, and wanted him in today to try and see what is going on around his heart and lungs.

As a side note, he is also x raying his shoulder, as he has been chronically lame on his front leg for over a month now, My vet suspected muscular damage, and we have been treating it as such, he has been on meds for that , but it is not getting any better.

So was about to go back and investigate the leg further, but this has brought it to the forefront anyway, so vet is going to xray the leg as well, hopefully they will not be connected in any way.



Sp at the moment, my old man is under sedation being ;looked at, and knowing how powerful our dogsey community's prayers can be, I am asking for a few to be thrown this way for my boy.

Hopefully the fluid is simply due to a very nasty infection and can be dealt with accordingly..
