Versele-Laga Bento Kronen

I seem to have at long last found a complete dry food that Bella the min pin LIKES! I'm at the mo mixing it with the remainder of her Royal Canin Junior 33, but its the Versele she likes best.

I'm so pleased about this as I've tried Hills, Eukenuba and others without much success.

I went into the pet shop attached to the boarding kennels here and pointed to all the specialist foods and said 'which one do most people buy?' She said it was the Versele-Laga in the Chicken and Rice variety.

It's all very well some claiming to be scientifically perfect and provide everything your dog needs but, if your dog doesn't LIKE IT, it's not much cop.

My vet was suggesting I moisten the Hills/Eukenuba (no good), put meat gravy on it (no good), or put minced chicken with it (she just threw out all the dry stuff), put yoghurt on it (no good).

But, the point I made to my vet was - what is the point of it providing EVERYTHING the dog needs if I am going to end up putting everything else with it?

And I was bothered how difficult it would be for someone else to feed her in my absence if too much faffing about was involved.

So far, this one, unlike the main two, hasn't made her constipated either. So fingers crossed.
