Dog circles

how many times does your dog circle before it lays down.
my mums old pointer used to circle up to 25 times before laying down, you would say to her "go lay down" and she would go round and round and round, almost lay, then round and round a bit more then almost be just an inch from the matt then she would be off again round and round,

my dog just plonks himself on his bed, he hasnt got time for all that circle stuff

This dog doesn't do it often, but our last spaniel used to circle round for ages, finally lay down then get up and do it all again.

Dougal is one of those who circles to infinity and beyond too...or he scrapes and scrapes and scrapes and scrapes and scrapes and...you get the picture....

Luke never used to do the circles, but now that he's so big and we're still in a double bed I've noticed him doing it more. He'll circle two or three times I guess, then settle.
