Zara at New Brighton beach (and some others)

We took Zara for her first trip to New Brighton beach last week. We haven't been there for a few years, despite the fact we only live 10 minutes away!
We weren't disappointed at all, it was a gorgeous beach, with plenty of sand, so it was easy to keep Zara off lead for most of the time .

Zoomies

Didn't realize the rock pool was this deep!

Spotting something in the distance

Deciding it's not worth bothering with

Running after some seagulls

Getting a bit far away there, Zara, come back!

Good girl!

It was a lovely walk, she did so well too as there was a large group of dogs doing zoomies not too far away and she resisted running over to them (and I resisted asking the owners if she can join in!)

Back home, just messing with the camera:

"Mum, can you ask the little one to move? She makes me feel awfully uncomfortable..."

"It's not even worth it for a treat."

"I'll sneak a look while she isn't watching!"

Hope you enjoyed!

Oh bless her she is beautiful. I love how she sneaks a look at the cat while it turns away. You can tell by her face she gives the cat complete respect!!

What a fab beach. If I had that ten minutes from me I'd be there every day. Any beach near me is always crowded with people.

Great pics thanks for sharing xx

Oh what a beauty she is, and so sweet with it by the looks of her, she's loving her zoomies down the beach there, and her swim in the rock pool, lovely, lovely pics of your gorgeous girlie. I'm surprised she went that far away from you there, but they always come back our sheps, when we've strayed too far away, don't they Love her with the cat in the kitchen, she really does look a real sweetheart.

great pictures of the beautiful Zara at OUR beach
all that space, it's a great place for dogs, and your girl looks like she enjoyed it a lot.
my dogs also mistake the rock pools for puddles
I haven't been to the beach since Bailey was poorly after drinking putrid water from there. be careful what she drinks hun I wouldn't want another dog to go through what he went through
I will go back soon because they love that beach and swimming in the sea
thanks for putting the pics up and reminding me of what we are missing xx
