Mice are ruining my life!!!!

Ok a bit dramatic ...But I am sooo tired i cannot think straight!

We have pesty mice running up and down our wall cavity ALL night, every night! They make so much noise you wouldnt believe it, it sounds like I have the builders in!
This morning getting kids dressed and breakfasted was an incredibly difficult operation....I keep getting things muddled up, dropping plates and things I am so tired.

Sorry just needed to rant...thanks! I will stop feeling sorry for myself now I know its not a problem compared to some people but I am hopeless on no sleep and havent slept for weeks

Oh---I have a mouse problem as well Left Tassle here and she let them in (G)!

I am contemplating poison but I hate doing it. They are in the room with the guinea pig and chinchilla though (as well as visiting the kitchen) and they are not going to be evicted happily.

The council operate a pest control service, Rat are free treatment, you may have to pay for mice, but Im sure they can help, yes.

When I was a kid we lived in an old house and got mice every winter. If you can get to where they are coming and going try oil of peppermint on cotton wool it shifted ours

Anything that stops you getting proper sleep night after night is something that is bound to get your down.

Just wish I could lend you Stumpy - she loves mousing (although not sure what she could do if they are in your wall cavities).

I agree with Dawn, speak to the Council's pest control department - hopefully they will be able to help.

Hope you get it sorted.

Have you tried the plug in gadgets. Not the ones that just work on sound waves but the ones that tap into your electicity circuit and so send the signal throughout your house? We use one all the time now, mainly as a deterrent now we have (hopefully) got rid of all our house guests.
