I know you use ice to remove gum from carpets etc,but not sure if any dog would remain sitting still long enough for it to freeze!

Not sure if applicable to dogs... but I think you can "use cooking oil, baby oil, massage oil, etc. to remove the chewing gum. You don't need to cut the hair!"

When I saw the title I thought put it in the freezer then I read you were on about Lola

I can only think of ice, but I'm sure someone will be along with a good tip

Hi, I know one thing that works on chewingum..but have not used it on a dogs coat and would hesitate to do so if is short hair or near the face.it is WD40..I would try a bit then wash it off at once first applying a tiny drop of washing up liquid before any water Have just noticed you have a short coated breed so not sure I would want to try it.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for he advice it worked a treat, no not putting Lola in the fridge I used olive oil and it came of a treat. I don't think my OH was to happy that I was using her expensive olive oil when we had ordinary cooking oil but hey only the best for Lola
