Runny nose and Sneezing

My darling Miss has developed a runny nose and has been sneezing. She even took herself off to bed, most unusual at this time of day.

She was due to have her annual vaccs today, after it was put off last week. Just spoke to the vet and she said she's not to have the vaccs as Missy is under the weather, but to bring her in for a check over anyway, in case its something developing.

I hope its nothing serious.

Sorry to hear poor little missy is not feeling 100%. Positive vibes coming her way and I hope its nothing more than a bit of a reaction to something.

Vet was excellent - gave Missy a thorough going over. She has no temperature, she has nothing wrong in her eyes, one nostril is weeping a little clear fluid - but there's nothing stuck up there and no signs of infection. Put a probe with a light in her ears also and there's nothing there. Listened to her heart and all was fine.
Told us it may be just a one day off colour thing but she wasn't going to give her the annual vaccs today just as a precautionary measure. We have an appointment for next Tues to have the vaccs done and have been told to keep an eye on her to see how she goes. If she gets worse then we have to return earlier for Missy to possibly have an antibiotic jab. If she is fine, then Tues she'll get her jabs.
So, tlc in the meantime.
Thanks for the positive vibes xx
