First ever fun dog show!

And it was!
Though it was a small show, it was good fun and a great trial for Kismet who has never been in this sort of situation before and she behaved very well

Police line up... all the usual suspects

I think I know who dunnit

Say cheese for the forth best family of dogs at the show

This was the expression of the poor judge for all our competitions How to choose?

Dog shows aint no picnic... Oh wait... They are

Proud Kismet with her Second Prettiest bitch (she did actually take offence to the prettiest bitch when they were given their award.. It was like she knew, little diva

Proud Pharaoh displaying our forth place for best family (he did go on to win best rescue, but he looks so smart here)

Selkie showing her first place in Golden Oldie... she also won best trick for which hand and smiles

Selkie made friends.. She was a special hit with this little girl They look so alike. if we go to the Wheeley show tomorrow, I think they should enter the look alike together

Kismet also got the beginnings of a fan club

The end result: Three very happy shattered doggies too tired to show off their rosettes for you

A fabulous day was had by all. Thank-you Littlelab for inviting us

That looks like a great day! Well done to the dogs. I did like the photo of the perplexed judge!
Are you coming to the WHAM show in September?

What happy faces on all the dogs!

And so many rossettes!! What a proud mummy you must be, Magpye!

Where and when is it? We were invited while we were there to another show tomorrow in Wheeley, but I can't seem to find any details of it online at all

Very very proud Mummy Selkie has never been to a show in all her 13 years and here she was winning two firsts! Kismet was the only one who didn't win a first in anything.. But she's young and there's still time. There just wasn't the right category for her...: Pulliest dog, craziest teen monster, most vocal, greediest any of these she would have won paws down!

Tansy, the Weeley one is done by 'Spirit of the Dog', google their website for all the details.

Thanks for coming, I know it was small, but it meant that everyone was a winner in one way or another and we gave £133 to rescue today.

It was small... But perfectly formed

and as you say everyone was a winner.. But shhhh don't tell too many people that...

....Remember... It was a tough competition but my wonderful dogs just shone through

Anyone else going to Wheeley tomorrow?

Maybe I should start another thread?
