Hazel, 1 year old Staffie needs home!

History: Found in street with a prolapsed womb. Vet took her in and offered to spay and sort if a rescue place came forwards. One lady could only offer her a warm shed, but to save her life that's what she did. Bless Hazel would bark and neighbours were becoming aware so we took her in.

Salient points: Unassessed in domestic setting. Good with dogs, but sensitive to them coming too close due to previous neglect. Loves people. Not for cats.

Advert: Its is sad when the most you know about a dog is their sad story and the circumstances accompanying them when the enter rescue. Found scavenging in bins with her womb hanging out of her backside. ?Kicked or not sorted after pups ... we'll never know. She, like so many Staffies, have a tough time to try and find their way to a 'human chain of kindness' which a good rescue is ... into safety. She was offered a warm shed to start with, whilst she recovered from surgery then we have taken her in to private kennels. Now she is sitting in a warm and snug kennel block whilst we search high and low for her home.

Hazel is a pretty dog the size of a boxer with a Staffie head. Very gentle and all reports come singing her praises. Hazel exercises well along side other dogs; very even and non-reactive however, she doesn't like other dogs to sniff her, understandably, so needs to be an only pet. Hazel walks nicely on the lead and isn't bothered by traffic. Hazel is spayed, vax'd and chipped. Currently kennelled in Woldingham, Surrey. She has a patient smile on her face as people walk past her kennel ..."I know this door will take me to a kind, caring home one day".

"Please note that this dog is currently in kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".
