Thanks Hades. She is one in a million. I'm afraid that we have been spoiled with her and so will never have another Akita for fear that it does not live up to her very high standards

She is definitely an example of a breeder getting it right

Dawn, Nala surprises us everyday and insists on a full walk (you don't argue with her, she just sits down and refuses to take a shortcut ) of about 2 hours. I'm sure that her last breath will be taken on a walk, hopefully not for a very long time though.
