Frozen fish and chicken

We have been giving Harly dried food (Hills) for months now but the last two weeks we have been adding frozen fish or chicken but he has started to pull out hair and scratch him self.
We bathed him, de-flead him brushed him but we now think it may be his diet or the added frozen food.
Can any one help, we are stopping the frozen food and buying fresh chicken from to morrow.

Why not stop feeding the chicken and fish altogether? If the itching clears up then it may be an intolerance to the meat, I can't see why fresh or frozen would make a difference unless it was an additive to the frozen stuff, e.g. the dextrose in some frozen chicken

Stop the extra bits altogether and see if that fixes the problem. If it does you could then try adding just one new thing so you can tell which is causing the problem

what have u 'deflead' him with? (and how soon before /after did u bathe him)

We bathed him first and later that day we sprayed him with front line.
We have stopped the frozen food but have brought some chicken breast from the supermarket, he eates better than me.

p.s. just an update on me, i can now walk Harly in the afternoon for about 3/4 of an hour, it has been 9 weeks after my op. (operation on my spine).
Pat has told me if it snows i am to stay at home.
