Kazz - I'd never thought of keeping chickens until we were viewing houses when we recently moved. When we viewed this one the lady had 9 hens. It got me thinking. When I looked into it, I couldn't wait to get some.
On my travels doing home visits, I often find that people have a few chickens in their garden (places you'd never think kept them) They don't need lots of space. The lady I mentioned before did only have 1, which is not ideal. At leat 2 is best. We went to get 4, but came home with 6

Hey Jax, yours look great now.

I know thay can be "sweet". My aunt used to have some, but I just have a fear for them. They scares me and I have a sick dream of me being chased by chickens

IŽll never trust those funny little creatures :smt096

haha ... And I thought my "fear" of ostriches was bad. You could not pay to go near one. When I was about 12, we went on a school tour. I was wearing a gold bow in my hair (bad fashion statement), and the lady at the ostrich farm was feeding them niknaks (bright orange crisp snacks). One obviously mistook my bow for a snack and pecked me on the head (Hard and fast like a woodpecker. I almost **** in my pants!!
