On a cost per wear basis these must be some of the cheapest on the planet. And the engraving is as clear as the day I bought them.
Mine always wear out SB where the metal has a hole for the other metal ring to go through, it wears thin with movement, then eventually breaks, takes about one and a half years movement from my dogs.

I've never known that but i do usually get mine online or from p@h machines. My neighbour never had problems or anything though.
I hope she soon learns people normally only pay for the finished product though

By law it should have your name and address. Mine have this, plus phone number, on one side and my vet's details on the other (name, address, phone number) in the hope that if they were injured when lost, they'd get taken to my vets and treated ASAP.

Not legally compliant I am afraid. People like me who find dogs with non compliant tags cannot return them home so we take em to the relevant kennels or ring up the Dog Warden and then the owner has to find them and pay for their return.

Usually the owner is ON the phone so you cannot get through IME.

I ordered from Collars and tags - recommended by Leanne.
Mine, as do Leanne's, have the military dog tags, they are embossed rather than engraved. The only issue I have with them is that the silencers are pretty rubbish and break fairly easy, although saying that Louie's last silencer lasted 4 months - and he doesn't stick to paths, it's all brambles and thorns..

Collars and tags has free delivery and the tags I got can fit up to about 13 letters/numbers on 5 lines. Which means I can have my name, house number and road name, first address line and postcode and then my number on it, then on Louie's second one he has his vets contact details and address on it too. Oh and I have micro chipped on it too.
