i'm on plusnet and connected wirelessly and i am very happy with my internet, i am not on unlimited but we don't stream films etc so it doesn't really matter, we get 60gb (i think) a month and we have never got anywhere near that

Wired for the PCs (all upstairs where the router is) and wireless for Tablets, Phones etc.

My son does a lot of on-line gaming and he gets consistently better speeds and no loss of connection with being wired.

Ghastly - on a good day, with a north wind blowing, we might be extremely lucky and get 500k! We can never watch the i-player, or any dvd's, clips etc. Anything like that I would have to do at work.

I relented and I now have Fibre Optic thingummyjig!
Mainly because hubby's BT sport kept dropping out. He agreed to take Fibre Optic for 6 months if it made no difference then he told them they could stick the lot.....I missed where he said it could go!!!

This is a base test of our new internet. Old modem broke, had no choice but to upgrade as they no longer serviced or provided that model or internet service anymore. So, a tad better. Websites don't seem to load much faster... but uploads and downloads are far faster.
