I feed 3 border collies an all RAW diet and it costs between £40-£50 per month, depending on what I buy from the suppliers.

On kibble and tinned meat, it cost me around £50 a month to feed Cain (45kg large dog)

Now he's on raw, it costs me around £25 a month to feed him. To feed raw cheap, really you need a large freezer and to buy in bulk from a supplier

8KG dog. Kibble comes to about 6.20 a month (15kg bag - tend to split with boss). Add a Box of chicken wings & the odd Pilchard it's under £10.

I currently feed Nature's Menu which works out to around 86p per day for two dogs.

I will be shortly changing to a good quality Kibble, and will be able to feed Burns for as little as 57p a day. Orijen is also a very good option, and is about 85p a day.

For one 18kg staffieX we buy one 15kg bag of super premium kibble from the local country supplies place roughly every 6 months. It's £30 a bag, so about £5 a month.

With that she gets varied wet - Natural Instinct (a £3 tub lasts a couple of weeks in frozen kongs and whatnot), butchers (a couple of 50p tins a month), tinned oily fish (a couple a month) and free raw from the butchers.

So that's about £10 a month, before treats. She doesn't eat an awful lot, and she suppliments her diet with stolen human food and dead animals she finds on walks

Hardly worth working out the cost with a tiny min pin, even on expensive kibble. What 'meat, fish, poultry' she gets comes out of what I buy for myself.

What I save on food I spend on good boarding kennels and fares for her!

The cost can vary because I feed raw, so I sometimes can get things really cheap (or free) from the butchers.

I did an order in February which cost me £55. That was 3 months ago, and the freezer is still half full. I do buy some things from the butchers, like liver, kidney and lamb ribs/bones but they don't cost very much at all... A couple pound a month I would reckon.

I would say, roughly, it costs £15 a month to feed a 25kg dog at the most. I am, however, not wanting to order too much from the supplier so I am looking to get more from the butcher, which could bring costs down.

I spend at least $165 dollars per month on Luke's food, unless I get regional red, in which case it's a little over $180. (I buy two 30 pound bags a month)
