Ok, the scariest film ive seen to date, is a japanese film called Ring, there is a Ring 0 and Ring 2 too, but id say stay clear of Ring 0 as its a prequel and watch 1 and 2. There is also a US remake of this film, but its total rubbish, dont go anywhere near it. Blockbuster will have it. IT will be in subtitles though, but dont let that deter you. Infact i dare you to watch it :P but remember this is a supernatural horror film, so that means watching it at night with dimmed lights and not in the morning with cossaint and jam. I admit i was on edge for a few days after watching it, was hard to sleep, and thats comming from a 23 year old haha. I really get into my movies, i dont think of them as pass-time.

lol - I've seen the US version and thought it was good! I've heard the Japenase version is vvvvvvvvveryyyyyyyy scary but I havent got round to watching it yet I must be honest I (and all the cinema buffs will hate me for this!) but I'm not too fussed on subtitles cos it feels like by the time I have read whats going on I've missed the actual 'action'. But i enjoyed Crouching tiger (i love kung fu films tho!).

no hope for me eh?

awww, its semi-spoilt for you, if you have already seen the US remake, or should i say ripp off, but its still worth watching, i mean i still found it scary on my second viewing.

Quite a few years ago now, Channel 4 used to do late night kung fu films, i used to watch them as a kid. I want to see Jet-Li's new film Hero, it likes like a real epic, will have great fight scenes.

I think 'the legend' was on last night? it was dubbed (poorly) and was more of a comedy but i watched a bit of it (well the fight scenes more than anything!) some of my fave kunfu flicks are:

drunken master
Warriors two
crouching tiger

Do you remember a film called Zu Warriors? that was more or less kung-fu but with some fantasy thrown in. I think thats what it was called, going years back now.
