was just about to say thyroid and read Malkas post.

Fingers crossed it is simple as thyroid and you get sorted out with some little blue pills quick smart

(soloxine pills my boy has are small blue diamond shaped, he mananged to spit one out upstairs one day unbeknown to me which my fella found. he was relieved to find out that i hadnt been having rampantness in his absence with some viagra needing fella when I told him it was his dogs thyroid medicine )

will be interested to see what the levels come back as x

Update:
Saw our regular vet, she's lovely,Meg has a rapid heart beat, skin infection, prescribed ab's for that, she is overweight,we know that, she weigh's 18.25kg's so about 41lb, and vet is doing a full endocrine panel, she has coatloss, thin skin etc etc. Results will be back Friday,or Monday at the latest,so now it's wait and see what the bloods reveal...Total bill so far £149.....
She is back next week to see the vet about this skin infection.

I asked the vet what she thought, and she didn't want to make any assumptions and would prefer to wait for the bloods,I am thinking she may suspect Cushings although she hasn't said, when I said we were having the thyroid panel done she said she would prefer to do the Endocrine panel,so we have gone with our vet, and of course I want the results back asap so we know what we are dealing with.

She did say she thought it was unlikely to be thyroid with a rapid heart beat but to assume nothing.

Symptoms we have are overweight,despite been on a controlled diet,always starving,depressed/lethargic at times,skin infection,coatloss,both flanks,thin skin....not looking good
