I find it fascinating how different siblings can be.......with doing my family history I have learnt a lot about this! With myself and my two brothers (I also have a step sister who obviously doesn't come into this equation) - one brother has always been exceptionally brainy. He gained a scholarship to Cambridge and is always on a different planet to me intelligence wise. Not a vast sense of humour though. My other brother always wanted to fly in the RAF, and his determination got him there and to the top, flying Vulcans amongst other things, in spite of a burst eardrum and a stutter. He refused to stop flying, and after teaching on Hawks (can you imagine THAT with a stutter ) he went on to helicopter search and rescue. Finally, he went on to teaching in a simulator and has just recently retired. He has a very dry sense of humour, but is quite quiet, and spends all his spare time mapping new caving systems all over the world, or climbing in the Andes etc. Then there is me

Not a genius TW, but he has always loving potholing and climbing. He is no casual caver!! The Chinese Government asked him to explore, map and open up a cave system a few years ago.........can you imagine squeezing through tunnels and things not knowing what might lie ahead? I can't.

Eileen, my sense of humour is what keeps me going sometimes!! It also occasionally gets me into trouble

ew no, not for me. Been out to check on Madam, she is lying down and didn't get up, but the whole tail was wagging, checked her membranes and she is still pink. She must have been more or less wiped out by whatever it is she has done.
Hope she learns from the experience, because I still haven't a clue how or what happened.
I am more hopeful than I was last night, I was scared to death of what might happen during the night, I am hoping we are on the road back now. I will see if she will eat the steamed fish and bio yogurt I made her for her brekkie. If not it goes in the freezer!!!

Oh thank goodness for that TW......I was thinking about her today, and just keeping everything crossed that she would be okay. After her rocky start in life you cannot help but worry can you. It does sound as if she is feeling heaps better, and I am sure that she will be able to force down a little light supper! I do hope so anyway.
