Improvement at last (back injury)
I saw the physiotherapist again yesterday, she could still feel quite a bit of inflammation in one paticular area of my lower spine, so I had some ultrasound.
The improvement is my left leg - after walking very short distances it would feel weak, kind of jelly like. I first saw the physiotherapist on Monday and after examination said I had a nerve compression and that was causing it. She gave me exercises to do at home, and they have eased that to the extent I can now walk almost normally!
Just the lower back to sort, then my neck - that is not as painful as my back so my physiotherapist is happy to leave it for now. Obviously if it becomes a problem she will rethink.
Signed off work next week, and am seeing her again next Friday. Will see then about returning to work.
Getting our new car on Thursday - got that to look forward to!
